This trashcan is well, the best I've been able to find anywhere for the price. It looks good, it's thick lip hides the trash bag at the top, it locks the bag in place, the lid locks open, and it's pretty durable. The only complaint I have is simply I wish there was a slightly bigger than standard kitchen bag size can available from oxo, otherwise it's a great buy!Customer Review: Great Value for the Price

I was searching all over town and could not locate a simple, black trash can. I was not interested in paying $100 or more on a smaller, stainless steel trash can, so I hopped on Amazon. I love OXO products. This one is the right size for my husband and I, at a great price. Make sure you read other's who've posted not to throw away the step you attach to the can! I am so glad I found this trash can after wasting many dollars over many years to find a simple kitchen trash can. The step on operner works great, my cats cannot pry into it, my toddler cannot open it (yet). My ONLY complaint would be the way the trash bag inside is held in place. I have been searching for a good, black trash can for a while. I got this one and have been very satisfied. It is very easy to operate, got the stickers off great, and is better than my crappy wooden one I did have. Would recommend this product.
