This broom has saved me hours of back pain and knee pain. I have two cats and I am always cleaning up after them. Be it litter or a cloth toy torn to bits, this broom cleans any mess without strain on my body. I no longer have to bend down with a dustpan and long broom or drag out the vacuum to clean up. I just take the "Oxo Good Grips Upright Broom and Dustpan set" and standing sweep it right into the dustpan. I am very happy with this product.Customer Review: I love this broom set

I really like this broom set. It's perfect for my small apartment, stores nicely against the wall and is very easy to use. Sweeps up really well too.
A great feature is that the dust bin will stand up on its own, so no need to hold it. The broom handle has a great flexible palm protective grip on top, so no sweeping blisters.
As for the height, I worked in a few restaurants when I was younger and all of them had loads of these types of broom sets, which are meant to be this height. They're meant for quick sweep up jobs and easy storage.
Because of the shorter handle, if you want to hold it like a regular broom (gripping at the top of the handle), you will have to lean over slightly. If you don't want to lean at all, you're supposed to hold it further down the handle, not at the top, with your arm straightened.

I read another review about how short this broom was, but decided to get it anyway. It is, indeed, very short. I had to bend over and I am a college student about 5'6" tall. I wouldn't recommend this broom for 5'6" and taller. Also, the plastic dustpan keeps flipping up; sometimes it's hard to keep the edge on the floor when you're sweeping. Overall, difficult to use for the 5'6" or taller person.Customer Review: It's a little small

Nice set, good broom, no gaps under dustpan. However it is very short. I am 5'6" & have to bend over to use. The bristle part of the broom is not very wide either so if you have a large kitchen, I would not recommend. It would be perfect for a camper/trailer though.Customer Review: Just perfect

So much better quality than what I was using before. I really appreciate the good looks and well engineered pair. I am not tall so the fit is perfect. This looks really uptown and the price was right.
