Tools and Hardware Reviews of P3 International P4320 Kill-A-Watt Power StripCustomer Review: How does it work? Summary: 4 Stars
As a surge protector it does exactly what I needed and it had two extra big outlets that my current surge protector didn't. I was considering buying the cheaper "kill-a-watt" meter, but went with this one instead to try and fill two needs I have.
I have found the readout to be a little ambiguous. I haven't read through the instruction manual yet, but I haven't figured out how to calculate how much my appliances are costing me yet. I'm sure I will figure it out once I give it the proper amount of investigation though.
For now it's doing it's job and that's enough for me... Oh and it has a cool blue backlit display... bonus!
Customer Review: Keeping electronics under control Summary: 4 Stars
I had not expected much since there are similar products but you can only plug one device to it. This product let's you plug a group of devices. Now I can see how much it costs to run all my IT stuff on my desk at home. Helps me decide if I really need to keep that box "on" around the clock. Great when trying to convince the spouse that shutting off the TV when you fall asleep does save money. Well worth the money.
Customer Review: Kill A Watt power strip Summary: 1 Stars
Dead On Arrival. Does not power up and all sockets in power strip are dead. Further, the clam shell packaging the unit arrived in was already opened at one end.
Customer Review: Kill-A-Watt Power Strip Summary: 3 Stars
Power strip was defective when it arrived. It was returned to the factory for repair. The repaired/replaced unit works fine, but we lost 2 weeks waiting for it.
Customer Review: Love It Summary: 4 Stars
Just what I needed. When running three GTX 260 it pays to know how much power you are using at peak and idle. Get one now.
