Tools and Hardware Reviews of P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage MonitorCustomer Review: A must have if you want to know if appliances are to costly to use or keep. Summary: 5 Stars

Customer Review: A must have. Summary: 5 Stars
This product is a must-have for any household, and it's great to see them finally priced reasonably.
It could be improved -- for example, if plugged into a wall socket the unit blocks both plugs. However, it's still a 5-star in my book.
I think a lot of folks like me would love to see a delux unit offerred that can be attached to a computer (perhaps wirelessly) for ongoing data collection.
Customer Review: A neat gadget that works well. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this to test how many amps networking products use, for planning purposes. It works great. Would be ideal for looking at household appliances too. Maybe you didn't realize how much that old frig in the garage was using! A neat gadget that works very well.
Customer Review: A neat device Summary: 4 Stars
It is very cool and tells you a lot about how your devices work on your power system beyond simply measuring power consumption. It is not the expensive models, so you will have to be able to calculate the cost of the power from the kWh, which can be done with a single glance at your power bill.
Biggest downside is that it has a 120volt, 15amp maximum, so you often cannot measure things like your oven/range, heating, and washer/dryer: the things that use the most power. It is also true that it will occupy the space of two outlets (or more on a power strip) while only using one.
Customer Review: A nice toy Summary: 3 Stars
The unit operates as advertised with displays for volts, watts, amps, and KWhr use. Others have noted lack of light on LCD screen inhibits use so have a flashlight handy. This needs to be run via an extension cord for hard to reach plugs (such as a refrigerator) so you can see the screen. It did provide some surprises as to power use usage for TV's and chargers.
