Tools and Hardware Reviews of P3 International P7810 Cordless Motion Activated Animal AwayCustomer Review: Perhaps mine was made on Opposite Day. Summary: 1 Stars
This is the second product I've bought to coax my neighbor's very friendly dog to poop just a little less on my lawn and a little more in his. The first was the Scarecrow, which is basically a sprinkler head activated by a motion sensor. That works okay, but lacks fine-tuning for a small yard like mine. Also, when the landscapers visit, they turn it off and forget to turn it back on. So I went in search of a harmless product to augment the water treatment, and settled on the P3 "Animal Away" you see here. After many weeks in service, I can confirm my neighbor's dog just loves this thing. He poops all around it, often directly in front of it, sometimes within 2 inches. It's like he can't get close enough, and I've just returned inside to write a review after raking up 26 piles of poop arranged in a fan formation stretching out only 3 feet in front of this device. I'm considering taking it over and hiding it in my neighbor's bushes, it's that effective in attracting dog poop. Perhaps mine was wired improperly and now does the exact opposite of what the manufacturer intended. Whatever the reason, if you love dog s#!t then you will just love the "Animal Away" by P3 International.
Customer Review: Save your money, buy a slingshot - you'll have better luck scaring away pests with that! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought a few of these units to scare away racoons from my pond. They suck! The racoons are laughing at me for wasting my hard earned cash! I wish I would have spent the money on beer so I could at least be drunk when the racoons are killling my exspensive Koi!
Customer Review: Seems to work ok Summary: 4 Stars
My wife witnessed one of the neighbor's cats walk into the coverage area. The cat stopped and shrieked (as cats do) and RAN through the rest of the yard. One of the other cats saw this, became frightened, and ran back to the safety of the neighbors house. The device seems to work, but since the audio frequency is beyond human perception, I don't really know. I paid about $45 for this at a hardware store. I'm glad Amazon has it cheaper. If this works, even for a limited time, I'll be pleased.
Customer Review: This Actually Does Work! Summary: 5 Stars
The little device actually does work as claimed, they all say that cat's don't pick on people and aren't vindicitive when in comes to digging in your flower beds, but I'm here to say that you are wrong! This litte device works well enough that the animial in questions changed locations 4 different times in the SAME YARD, just to get away from it, that why I bought 2 more!
Customer Review: This product is a dog Summary: 1 Stars
I read the instructions, put in a fresh battery, verified the motion sensor, then placed it in my yard. The very dog I'm trying to repel walked right by and peed within 2-feet of the unit and didn't even flinch. This happened several times. Don't waste your time and money on this product. However, the seller was great, and promptly refunded my money.
