There are a few places where field mice would always show up, despite my best efforts. There were tell-tale signs, so I would put out a "Better Mousetrap" (which I also HIGHLY recommend - Better Mousetrap 6 Pack), and I would catch maybe 2-3 mice in the next day, and that would be it for a while.
It's been about 3 months since I got these devices. In my case, I went overboard and got 6 for my house - 3 upstairs and 3 downstairs. I also have one strategically located near where I think they might be getting in.
Ever since, I have had absolutely sign of mice since. So, I believe these devices work - but then again, it's difficult to prove!
I will echo too what another user wrote - the relays inside these things "click" about as loud as a wall clock with a second hand, so if you put one near where you might sit queitly - you will definitely hear the small click sound. It's not super loud or obnoxious - but it's also not "quiet" either. So, you may want to place these in places where that sound won't be heard or where you won't care.
So bottom line, I'm somewhat convinced these worked because for the first time in perhaps 6 years, I have absolutely no sign of mice and it's been about 3 months. So, you may want to give these a try!

When I noticed a trio of house mice living under our refrigerator, and one in our dining room closet, I ordered one of these little buggers. I put it in the dining room where it would cover both rooms. From that point on, not only did I not see any mice again in the dining room, or under the refrigerator, but about 2 days after I installed it, the mouse that was living in the dining room closet came tearing down the middle of the floor toward the front room. This was odd because I had seen the mice in the front room on occasion, but usually they traveled around the walls. Since he left that room, I've never seen another mouse in there. For this reason, I bought two more for the remaining two rooms I had seen them in (I figured they were running from the sound). When the next two came and got plugged in (about 2 weeks ago), I haven't seen a mouse in my house since. I have two humane traps set out just to be sure, and I have yet to catch one. This product works!!!
UPDATE - NOVEMBER - 2010 -
Well, the 3 little devices have been in place for quite a while (coming up on a year), and I can report that I have not seen another mouse in our house! These things are seriously miraculous! A few weeks ago, we noticed a little mouse living in our enclosed back porch. He lived back there through the fall, and now that it's getting colder, he's disappeared. I can assure you it is NOT into the house!

It took the attack wave pestrepeller about 5 weeks to clear out the pest (rodents)in my home. I live in an area that is surrounded trees and nature, so I had a problem with mice coming in when it gets cold. I bought 2 of the repellers, one for upstairs, and one for the downstairs area. I could hear the rodents at night and see them in the kitchen after everyone settled down for the night. This was quite disturbing for me, especially after purchasing this product, but I read that it could take up to six weeks for the pest repeller to work. The 4th week the mice sounded as if they were trying to eat the house up. You could hear them clawing like they were trying to find a way out. The next week no noise, or any evidence of any mice or any insects in my home. This product is wonderful.Customer Review: It really works!

I have been fighting a rat problem in the attic for two years, including one year of using a commercial pest control company. They caught a few in the beginning but stopped catching them even though we could still hear them. Obviously the rats had learned to outsmart the traps. I finally took matters into my own hands and had this installed in the attic. It is an unfinished attic with no walls, so very conducive to this technology. In less than a week, no more rats! It still seems a little too good to be true, but so far so good... I'm a believer.Customer Review: It works.

I had field mice move into my attic. I ordered several P3's and started to place the unit's on each floor of the house slowly. I started in the basement and then worked my way to the attic. It took a couple weeks but it worked!!! Patience is the secret. The reason I slowly placed each unit on each floor was to keep the mice in one area. This way they had no where to run but out. I will continue to leave these devices running through the winter. Maybe even year round...I will have to see the effect the device has on spiders. The device does make a clicking noise...but with daily living you may not notice it. The noise is really the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.
