I purchased the PEET dryer about 2 months ago. Since I live in New Orleans, I mostly use the dryer for treating my running sneakers. I run 3 to 4 times a week and I tend to produce a lot of sweat. This tends to leave my running shoes a bit moist. Given the humidity levels in NOLA, the "natural" drying of my running shoes can take long. This product solves that problem. I place my sneakers in it after a long run and usually have dry shoes the following morning. It's also great for drying rain-soaked shoes, another common problem around here. Since other reviewers claimed that this device took out foul smells from dirty shoes, I tried drying some of my older shoes. Sadly, those older shoes still stink. I will report later if my newer shoes that get regularly dried with the PEET don't develop foul smells.Customer Review: Great for sports shoes!
