This thing works Great!!! I'm a garbage man so my boots get exposed to lots of water and mud and all the other great things in landfills and this boot dryer gets them dry and toasty warm overnight.

I bought the Peet dryer about two months ago and am very satisfied with the performance. I am on my feet up to 16 hours a day 5 days a week and I am required to wear steel or composite toe work boots. My old boots would get mildue in them after a few days, and no matter what powders, sprays or insoles I tried I could not combat the funk coming from them. When I bought a new pair of boots, I ordered the dryer. I have been putting them on the dryer every night when I get home, and when I take them off in the morning they are almost as fresh as new. The price for this dryer is worth every dime when I spend around $150 for a pair of boots, and the dryer in my opinion will make them last longer because I don't have to trash them when they smell so bad I can no longer stand it. The reason I didn't give five stars because an on/off switch would be nice (you have to plug/unplug), and a catch tray on the bottom to catch water from wet shoes/boots would be a welcome feature as well.Customer Review: Just what we asked for.

`Listen to Learn' is an old adage.
Well, I listened and didn't learn anything, as there was no sound.
I sent my `Original Peet Dryer' back to Amazon for a replacement. The replacement arrived in a week. Excitedly I assembled the dryer and plugged it in. Again, there was no sound, no air and no heat. I was very disappointed and sent an e-mail to Peet.
An e-mail response came a few hours later from Amanda, a Customer Service Representative. She said there is no sound, heat or air movement noticeable at all from the `Original Peet Dryer'. So I plugged it in again, put my wet hiking boots on it and a few hours later they were magically dry. WOW is all I have to say.
I highly recommend this boot dryer to anyone who needs one.
