I've had and enjoyed this product in past homes, but this time the one I bought developed cracks in the housing below the indicator window. Water is now spewing forth from the cracks so bad that I've had to stop using it. I'm in the process of trying to contact the company . . . maybe they'll replace it for me. I purchased my Pur filter from Target, but it is the same model as this. The first faucet mount we bought lasted a few months before it began to leak through the strip where you can see when it's time to change the filter. I went to the official Pur site and there is NO WAY TO CALL THEM- no phone number. You can "email" them but they require you to provide your date of birth after you submit your initial message for it to actually go through. Of course they have a lengthy "privacy" policy that ensures you will be used for some kind of marketing. So even if you input a fake birthday, you still are being added to some kind of marketing database.
I decided to buy another faucet mount and threw the first away, hoping it was just a bad one in a lot. Also, I still had two other Pur filters to use which is why I stuck with this brand. Well the replacement faucet mount is now leaking after less than a month! Fortunately I saved the box and receipt this time so I will return it to Target. I will never use this product again. And shame on Proctor & Gamble for not providing a customer service number on the Pur site!

Originally, I had posted a favorable review. However, after two months of use this faucet system cracked and became unusable, unless I wanted water sprayed all over my kitchen each time I used it, due to two cracks in the casing. At that point, the water was also cloudy after coming through the filter, so I am not sure what the filter was actually doing. After reading another review, I realized that the filter system that I was shipped was not actually the system pictured in this listing. This week I purchased the filtration system that is shown in this ad, and I am hopeful I'll have a better experience with it. Seems much sturdier and more well built.Customer Review: Do not waste your money

I bought the PUR 2-Stage Vertical White Faucet Mount FM-3333B about 2 months ago. It was easy to install and worked right away. However, that didn't last long. The amount of water coming out of the filtered side slowed down quite rapidly. Barely two months after installing it, there is hardly any water coming out. The filter has an indicator that is supposed to flash green when the filter cartridge is good, and changes color to orange or red when it's time to change it. Mine didn't even get to that point and it stopped working. I never ran hot water through the filter which is a warning that came in the instructions. This is just very poorly constructed. This product was cheap, and worked cheaply. Don't waste your money. Make some more research and instead, buy a quality product that will work.
