This product is a piece of junk. It started leaking on day 1 and never stopped. You cannot tighten the screw enough to stop the leakage, even with additional stuffing. The filter stops working after literally 2 days, when the water out of the filter trickles down to nothing. At that point, if you switch to a new filter core, it starts working marginally again for 2 days, and then you have to replace the core again. This is the worst consumer product in the kitchen I have ever used. It never functioned. What a piece of junk!Customer Review: More "Made in China" crap.

I'm about to throw away my 3rd Pur faucet mount filter. Flimsiest materials I've ever seen.
PUR - I'd much rather pay twice as much for a filter housing if I didn't have to replace it every 18 months!!

These are attractive, well made units w/ all the necessary adapters for installation. They are not made for easy regular on/off if you need the room or particularly, higher water flow which is reduced on filter mode to a drip!
As for taste: there is practically no change in the taste no matter how much I keep telling myself that it's cleaner/safer so it must taste better, but not really, & that's disappointing.

9100B isn't "stainless steel" I thought I bought the expansive version for it's made of metal, but it turns out all plastic, if I knew this, I would spent the money on the cheaper version, What a rip off!
