so $17.50 x 6 each = $105.00, but this Amazon price is $49.95 divided by 6 each = 8.33 each, a saving of 9.17 a filter. Anyway you and I (or is it me?) save $55.05 on this deal. Plus I love the water too. I knew that calculator on the iPhone would come in handy. I give this product the higest satisfaction rating. The performance is the same as those purchased at local retail stores but,"here is the good news" the cost is 40% to 60% less on Amazon.com. I can say the filters appear identical to the ones at local retailers so I assume the only difference is the PRICE. Finally i've found an affordable alternative for cleen water.Customer Review: Again Amazon comes through.

These are just like the filters I buy locally but at a substantially lower price.
Best monetary investment I came across in a long time.
I will always filter my city water and this is just what I needed.
In this case bulk buying, never available locally, was an outstanding value.

Buying the six pack is well worth the price. It averages out to $8 a filer where in the local stores, you'll pay around $18 for one. I just changed the filter on my sink faucet and it was fast and simple to do. I love this filter and it really helps to keep my humidifier water clean...and my cats are happy as well drinking fresh water!
