So far, the first filter in the 6-pack I received was defective - it only allowed water to flow for 2 to 3 minutes, then stopped working. I've been using these filters for a few years, and this is the first time this has happened.
The second filter was fine, but given how expensive these are, I'm going to ask PUR to replace the first one.

I have used Pur faceut filters for about 9 years. Yes, they are pricey, although Amazon's price of $49.99 for 6 filters is the best I've seen and is more acceptable. They do NOT last 2-3 months. There's only 2 people in my household, and they last about 4-6 weeks. That said, I like the water and Brita has not impressed me. So I pay the price. I'm glad to have found Amazon, instead of paying $10 per filter at stores.Customer Review: Easier than hauling bottled water
