Unlike the review below that states "Fits all Quarter turn refridgerators", this filter DOES NOT FIT LG Refridgerators quarter turn. The filter is too short and the connection head is too big.
Luckily Amazon was awesome enough to refund me, and I am stuck buying the expensive manufacture brand.
The pur filter is great in price and researched function though....

Very disappointed. I wanted to get a non-Whirlpool brand filter that was highly rated. Thought this would be it. Unfortunately the stem is 1/8th of an inch too long and won't lock into place. Had to return it. Guess I have to get the Whirlpool filter (Whirlpool 4396510 KitchenAid Side-by-Side Refrigerator, Quarter Turn Cyst Reducing Water Filter, 1-Pack).Customer Review: Do not waste your $$$$$

I tested the water with a filter and without. There was very little difference...Not enough to keep buying more filters.
