At the time I purchased my refrigerator, this filter by PUR is the original one that was specified by Whirlpool. I'm not sure why they don't sell this one at the Whirlpool site anymore. Still works fantastic!Customer Review: Great Fit

I found this to be a great replacement filter for my Whirlpool fridge. Installation was a snap and you get the quality associated with PUR filters. I little higher price, but for a name to trust.
