I bought this vacuum based on positive reviews but a high percentage of positive reviews does not a good purchase necessarily make. In this case I was looking for a lightweight canister. I was surprised to see how big and bulky this vacuum was when it arrived but I thought I'd give it a try. Well, the multi-surface brush was very bulky and quickly clogged with hair. It seemed to stick to my rugs. There was no gliding action at all so it was more or less useless on rugs. The telescopic wand was difficult to adjust with a tiny metal button on the metal tube being extremely hard to press. The bag is very small and will fill quickly. The cord is short and annoying. More annoying is the hose due to being short, bulky, and it's "ergonomic" swivel does not work well at all. The overall suction on bare floors was just okay and overshadowed by the clumsiness of this vacuum.
[...]Honestly, the cheap little Dirt Devil Quick-Lite bagless upright from Target is much better for a fraction of the cost. I just use a long attachment from a previous vacuum and, voila!, I've got extra length for getting into corners, along baseboards, or reaching the ceiling. Save yourself the hassle of costly returns and NEVER purchase without seeing the item in a brick-and-mortar store first.

Cheap but does not do the job. There is some sort of weird hole in the base of the head behind the rollers. It keeps getting clogged. I am either returning it on running over it with my car. This vacuum cleaner has so little suction that cleaning my area rug poorly takes at least 45 minutes. The brush gets so clogged so quickly that all I do is rip stuff out of it after a few minutes.
