Works well, Heats fast. The water changing chamber is very helpfull.
The only drawback is that the heat settings are not very intutive. I like the fabric name heat settings better than the dots this one has.

We already had an iron; my husband is the main ironer in our family. The iron was hard to use; it had a residue on the bottom and so the iron didn't glide over the clothing smoothly. It would also have white powdery residue come out the steam holes periodically onto my clothes. Hated it. I decided to go to Amazon.com and search for my own private iron for my use! I believe the Panasonic NI-C78SR was the top rated for the price and the customer reviews were all positive, so I selected it. It came right away. Right out of the box I loved it. It has a water reservoir that comes off, making it easy to put water into. I've only used it twice. It irons smoothly; just the right amount of steam comes out. The results are perfect. I can't say enough about it. It's lightweight and perfect for a woman to use. I have it stored in MY closet so my husband doesn't use it! After I iron I take off the water reservoir and pour out the unused water and let the reservoir dry completely upside down. Then I put it back on the iron and store it. A great product for the price; and the service from Amazon.com was of course prompt and easy and reliable.

I have used many irons in my life but have not liked any as well as I like this iron. It has a removable water reserve which makes emptying it very easy. I ordered this iron, the price was right and it arrived at my home very speedily. I would highly recommend this iron.

I'd been using an old iron for years and never realized how much better things could be until it broke and I got this Panasonic NI-C78SR.

Although I only occasionally do any ironing (maybe a few items per week) the difference is significant enough that I wish I'd have known earlier because I would've trashed what I had and got this one.

The 'push for steam' button really shoots out quite a sizable shot of steam - even on the low setting. It glides very smoothly and the cord storage in the base is a nice design.
