Tools and Hardware Reviews of Panasonic NI-L45NR Cordless IronCustomer Review: Great iron! Summary: 5 Stars
I recently purchased this iron for ironing my quilt pieces. I no longer have to worry about the cord getting in the way and wrinkling parts I have already ironed. The Panasonic is a great iron . It warms up quickly and has been such a help when I am doing quilting. You must return it to its base to keep the temperaturs but that has not been a problem for me.
I am very pleased with this iron.
Customer Review: Great iron! Summary: 4 Stars
The iron is great. It is moderate weight. My old iron (Black an Decker Classic) was heavier, but this one is still heavy enough. There are only 3 settings, 1-2-3, and 3 steam settings (off-low steam-high steam) plus the "jet" of steam. The iron is very smooth and the steam doesn't come out in spurts. I was wary with only the 3 settings, since my old iron had 6 settings, but truthfully, I was only using the two hottest settings on that iron anyway, so now I use only the setting 2 or 3. The iron heats up pretty quick; by the time I come back from filling the water container for steam, the iron is ready (on setting 2). You definitely need to "charge" the iron often, and even so, there are some times I still have to wait for it to heat up. That is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars.
And it comes with a nice carrying case! Looks much neater (I keep my iron out). And the retractable cord is also a very nice feature. I like this much better than my old iron, which died on me after 5 years.
Customer Review: Great performance so far! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought it for Christmas 2008 and it's been the best iron we've had so far. The iron has kept its heat while ironing, but we make sure the iron is on the pad when adjusting the clothes. A review in about six months would be more meaningful.
Customer Review: Great! Summary: 5 Stars
We have had no problems with this product and have been using it for about two years. It stays hot with no cord in the way. I highly recommend it to anyone that must iron things on a regular basis.
Customer Review: Hey, It's Cordless! Summary: 4 Stars
I love the cordless though. The cord even winds itself up, which solves another ironing pain.
Before I discovered the "steam" button, I was kind of wondering about it, but now I've found it, and I must say I'm VERY PLEASED with this purchase!
