I JUST HATEEEE TO IRON AND I VE BECOME A PRO @ IT. i WORK FAR AWAY FROM WHERE I LIVE AND I HAVE NO CHOICE OF DOING IT MY SELF, AS A MATTER OF FACT I VE DONE IT SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER AND STILL HATE IT. A FRIEND OF MINE HAD A PANASONIC IRON AND I BORROWED IT AND I ENDED LOVING IT (IT WAS NOT THIS MODEL, IT WAS A CHEAPER ONE) AND I DECIDED TO BUT ONE FOR ME. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SOME PEOPLE ARE SAYING THAT IT DOES NOT WORK.... IF YOU READ THE MANUAL WHICH I DID NOT HAVE TO DO U WILL REALIZE THAT U LL NEED TO SET IT ON # 3 IN ORDER TO MAKE IT WORK PROPERLY, ITIS SIMPLY AMAZING AND IT S WORTH EVERY SINGLE $ AND YES I AM A GUY WHO HATED , IWLL REPEAT I HATED TO IRON, IT USED TO TAKE ME @ LEAST 20 TO 30 MINUTES TO IRON A SHIRT AND PANTS, NOW IT JUST TKES HALF OF THE TIME TO DO IT.
I M SORRY FOR THE LENGHT OF THIS REVIEW BUT I HAD TO TELL MY EXPERIENCE SIMPLY BECAUSE I WAS ALMOST TURNED AWAY BY SOME REVIEWS I READ BEFORE BUYING IT.

Great Iron. Love the convenience of loosing the cord. Iron stays hot and produces great steam. Took a while to get in the habit of setting it back on the deck instead of sitting it on it's end as with a corded, but no big deal. Didn't realize when purchased that the iron itself had no battery and didn't actually produce the heat. I was a little concerned about this when I first realized this but it actually works very well like this and I don't have to worry about replacing rechargeable battery packs. My only complaint is that the automatic shutoff never completely shuts off. It goes to a standby mode which still produces heat and I still have the nagging worry of -did I unplug the iron?? that I was looking forward to eliminating with an automatic shut off model. Oh well, overall it is still a great iron.Customer Review: Great Little Iron

This is a great little iron. Very lightweight but irons like a pro. Heats and reheats quickly. The shot of steam function is powerful and I love not having to mess with a cord. I use this iron both for clothing and when quilting. Highly recommended.Customer Review: Great for Quilters

I tried to use opinions listed and found none from quilters. I decided to order and very pleased. Heats quickly and presses seams with ease. Cordless iron allows you to work in limited space or in a work area not convenient to electric outlet.
