Customer Review: Ironing is my obsession!! Summary: 5 Stars
Well, not my obsession but, I do iron everything that I wear. My wife isn't the one that does it...I do. Anyway, I am a perfectionist and have been searching for the best iron. Well, I have found it in the Panasonic NI-L46NR. First of all cordless is the only way to go. I got my first cordless iron a couple of years ago as a present from my sister and thought this is great and it was for about 2 months, then it started leaking terribly and I tried to deal with it for awhile and finally couldn't take it anymore so into the trash can it went. I went back to a corded iron and was satified with it but that darn cord kept getting in the way. My search began again and found the Panasonic NI-L46NR read a bunch of reviews and thought this is the one. It was very reasonably priced and so I ordered it online thru Amazon.com. I received it within a week after ordering it and couldn't wait to crank it up and see if it was really as good as all of the reviews. It was and it still is!! It heats up very quickly and get extremly hot which in my opinion is one of the big factors in quality ironing. The steam function is the best I have ever used...costant steam when wanted, super powerful steam bursts with a touch of a button. The unit is very light and extremely functional. Cords be gone..Thank you Panasonic!!!
Customer Review: Light and easy Summary: 5 Stars
This iron is very light, a great improvement over my last cordless iron. It holds the heat much better, too. The non-stick finish means that spray starch doesn't leave a dark sticky stain on the soleplate, again an improvement over my old iron.
The removable reservoir is interesting but not a particularly useful feature. Since it is plastic, I wonder how durable it will be in the long run, with being removed and handled so frequently.
Customer Review: Love this iron! Summary: 5 Stars
I am a sewer and a quilter and use this iron almost daily. We have had it over 2 years. My husband uses it regularly for his shirts. It is light-weight and easy to use. I have taken it to sewing classes conviently because of the easy carrying case. You only need to put it back on the base while you are re-positioning your fabric/clothing and it keeps hot. Not having to wrestle with a cord all the time is well worth the second it takes to put it in the base.
Customer Review: Luvs It!!! Summary: 5 Stars
The first of your two questions are inevitable "it is it heavy enough" Beware - if you want a heavy heavy iron this ain't it - but I got over that quickly - and "how much steam"....all very good, honestly....even speed-pressing-dirty-teenager-denim-jeans-in-the-morning-when-everyone-is-about-to-be-late - they press great. I love this iron - it makes great steam [unless you work as a washer woman who has to press all day] the steam does not run out - it readys very fast and stays hot - you can take it apart and fill it up with water straight from the faucet and not have water run all over the iron like regular models - there's no annoying wire "BEST PART!" plus bonus - its so unusual that it impresses everyone that comes to your house and has never seen one - you can have fun bragging and explaining it.
