Tools and Hardware Reviews of Panasonic NI-L46NR Cordless Steam Iron with Nonstick SoleplateCustomer Review: My First Cordless Iron Summary: 5 Stars
My mother needed to replace her cordless iron so I did research on Amazon and came up with the Panasonic NI-L46NR as the one I thought would meet her needs, so I decided to purchase one for myself as well. I love it!! It produces much more steam than my previous iron and the water well is very easy to fill and reattach. The water lasts much longer than in previous irons even with the additional steam. It heats up quickly; and when you're finished ironing, you just have to unplug the retractable cord and snap the lid on and put it back in the closet. I would highly recommend this iron.
Customer Review: No more getting tangled in the cord Summary: 5 Stars
I love this iron. I have more mobility and it steams very nicely. I would recommend it to anyone who gets frustrated with a corded iron.
Customer Review: Not EVEN a Good Iron Summary: 1 Stars
This iron is only acceptable if you develop a routine around ironing that includes stopping for a minute and doing a dish or two, then ironing for a minute, then stopping for a minute and taking out the trash, then ironing again for a minute. And so forth! It loses heat fairly quickly and really has to re-heat every single time, a minute or even two. The LED glows 'steady' indicating it's ready, but most of the time this does not mean it's reached an adequate temperature on its re-heat. In other words, the LED light is not reliable. It's really more than a bit frustrating. I wish I had listened to the negative reviews on this on this one, and I also wish that negative reviewers were less kind with their stars. Three stars is bearable, and I believe that's the lowest rating this iron received, whereas, not actually being useful when you're under the gun (say, a job interview in twenty minutes and you need to iron the cotton shirt!), this product is simply not functional and rates no stars. That not being an option, I gave it a one, and you might seriously consider the implications.
Customer Review: Not a Rowenta! Summary: 3 Stars
After my Rowenta finally bit the dust the 18th time I dropped it, I thought I'd try a cordless and was really looking forward to that feature. Unfortunately it doesn't stay hot long enough to be truly useful. I can iron about 1/3 of a shirt before I have to stick it back on the charger, which is pretty annoying. Back to Rowenta for me...
Customer Review: Overall- good Summary: 3 Stars
Overall, pretty good product. I design and make bags and I think this product would be great for a hobbyist, not a professional. However, I do like that it has a carry base and cover. I like that it is light weight, even full of water. I like the detachable water container.
I don't like that it loses heat fairly quickly and needs to be constantly put back on the base. Even fresh from the base, it does not give off a lot of steam. It *DOES NOT* have a water spray feature, which I was really unhappy about. To solve the problem, I got a spray bottle at Ikea.
Overall, good, solid product. Perhaps it will grow on me, and I will just learn more about it. In all, I like it and would probably buy it again.
