Tools and Hardware Reviews of Patton PUH680-U Milk-House 1000/1500-Watt Utility HeaterCustomer Review: GREAT HEATER Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best small electric heater I have found--and I have used a lot of electric floor heaters. It is easy to use-uncomplicated. It turns off if you tip it over so it is safe. It doesn't overheat and turn itself off like many others. It seems to have a feature that causes it just to not overheat. I have left it on all night with no problems.
Customer Review: Good heater but noisy Summary: 4 Stars
I didn't buy it directly from Amazon but i purchased it at a local Walmart for $9.90 after taxes, its a good heater but the fan noise is a little on the noisy side. lets just say if u place it next to your bed it might wake you up at night, when it turns off and on. Overall its a great heater it warms up a room fairly quickly and the body of the heater doesn't get hot so its safe for kids. Just nice warm air blowing through.
Customer Review: Good heater, poor price Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered this specific heater for my home because it's the model I had at work. I like the heater and it works well. After purchasig it on Amazon.com, I saw the same heater at my local Wal Mart for half the price I paid for it.
Customer Review: Looks good but is noisy Summary: 2 Stars
This Patton heater is a made in China copy of a Titan heater and although it looks good it's too noisy. Even on the low power setting the fan runs fast. Since I have one of the original Titan's I can make a direct comparison. The noisy fan and what I judge to be an under size power cord were reasons enough to return it. Amazon has a good return policy so all I've lost is the shipping costs. Still I wish the heater were good enough to keep.
Customer Review: Patton Milk-House Utility Heater Summary: 4 Stars
This heater ( or very similar from Patton) seems to have been around for a very long time. My father who is 96 actually did use this heater in the milk-house. Besides the nostalgia factor this heater does a good job for what it is designed to do, which is to put out safe heat. Not the prettiest, or quietest, probably not for your living room, but great for a smaller space, basement or garage. Here in Minneapolis where it is -2 degrees outside as I am writing this review, this little heater will take the edge off.
