I purchased these for my boyfriend as one of his birthday presents to go with a pistol I bought him. I bought 2 pair of these and I have to say they work wonders. Without these when I shoot a gun I can't hear a thing for about 5-10 minutes afterwards, with these I can remove them and hear perfectly fine. They definitely do what they are suppose to. Don't be fooled by the price, just because they are cheap doesn't mean they don't work. They definitely work and for about 1/2 the price of the other items I have seen listed on Amazon and some other websites. If you do a lot of target practicing or shoot a gun a lot, I would highly recommend purchasing these to save your hearing. They are adjustable, and you will still be able to hear alittle if someone is talking to you. This was a great investment in my opinion. I like these hearing protectors. They are adjustable in head-length, and fold up quite small for convenience of storage or travel. The earpieces are fairly comfortable, and they do muffle a good bit of noise. My only caveat would be that the pads surrounding the ears could be larger (wider); the design is intended for them to fit fully around the ear, cupping the ear inside so as to create a sufficient sound-reducing seal. While these do still do that, they are just a bit close on the ear clearance, and I don't have exceptionally massive ears or anything. As I said, they do fit and are decently comfortable, however this being a review, my criticism would be to allow a bit more room inside so the design can function perfectly as its intended.Customer Review: Are these the same hearing protectors?

I can't believe these are the same hearing protectors that everyone is giving a 4 or 5 rating. I put them on and I could hear the footsteps of my 23 pound dog walking across my soft couch. In addition, I could hear the usual distant traffic sound cut by not more that 1/4 %. If I was to shoot off a gun I have no doubt the noise would still be extremely loud as the bass sound on my TV speakers made the conversation audible and I heard the treble as well. In fact I could hear everything my husband said to me from another room and he was speaking at nomal volume. If it didn't cost so much to mail them back I would do so. What they are good for is mashing against your head to the point that I'm sure wearing them for any length of time would give me a headache.Customer Review: Best Deal Going

These are perfect for rifle competitors. I even have a very high cheek piece on one gun and these clear just fine. They have surprising noise reduction. If someone is shooting an 8mm next to you just pop in some inner ear ones too. Can't beat them for the price and convenience factor.Customer Review: Best ear protection product yet

This product is awesome. I am in the military and work around all kinds of fighter and attack jets. When I wear these, it muffles the sound almost completely. We have many of ear protectors like this one that everyone on the flight line uses. Peltor product are the best and this one tops them all.
