We purchased these for my son to have on hand in case of loud activities. We have used them once for a hockey games where they also had indoor fireworks. The ear muffs did a great job of blocking the sound of the game and my son was never bothered by noise. He even slept through the fireworks. Amazing! They do look like they are squiching his head a bit as the cups are so big they pushed against his cheeks. There were marks on the side of his head from the compression but I seemed more bothered by that than he was. He didn't fuss at all the whole time he was wearing them. We bought this for our 3-month-old baby and used it at the track. It worked well - a little tight on the head, though. He could only wear it for about 15-20 minutes at a time. It is not meant to keep out the GT1's at the track...but the average loud noise. Best advice? Keep the baby away from noise. We kept ours inside a motorhome most of the time. I do Zumba all the time, and the kids play near me. But the music is always quite loud and bothered them. Well, these must be comfortable, because the kids wear them the whole time! No more complaining or wanting to be held. (They're two and five.) So I get a good workout and don't have to worry about them suffering hearing loss.
