Peltor Professional Noise Canceling Earmuff #H10A
The Peltor's ear pieces are comfortable, light, adjustable and high quality. This headset completely elimates the sounds that drive you crazy. The price is very reasonable, considering the benefits.
Customer Review: A Great Item to have. Summary: 5 Stars
I got these noise cancelling ear muffs for the purpose of working on a story that I am writing in a noisy basement. These things work pretty good and they cancel out noise pretty well. They are the first pair of professional earmuffs that I have ever owned, so I don't know what else to compare them to. They do the job that I need and I am satisfied.
Customer Review: A MUST for College students Summary: 4 Stars
These are a lifesaver! I couldn't survive my first yar of college without them. You see, I live in a co-ed dormitory and there are a;ways drunk people making lots of noise well into the wee hours of the morning and girls yelling at their boyfriends on the phone right outside of my door. I couldn't sleep more than three hours a night my first week of college. Then i bought these babies! I couldn't hear anything with these on. The reason i gave these only 4 stars was because for the first month i wore them, i got really bad ear/headaches because they're so tight.
Customer Review: A bargain for good noise reduction Summary: 4 Stars
I brought this earmuff to use as an inexpensive Noise Canceling headphone. I took a pair of old sony head phones and cut of the speakers and put them in the earmuffs. The sound is good, but if I used a higher quality headphone, the sound would be better. For my purposes it works great. I have not flown with them yet - that will be the final test. They really do block out the sound well.
They are a little tight fitting, but not uncomfortable, and I tried using them on a warm day, mowing my lawn and my ears got sweaty. But I have a long flight coming up this summer and they think they will perform well with my IPOD.
