Excellent choice, I use these on the tractor and the noise attenuation is excellent. I use them with in-ear-canal earphones and I can clearly hear the audio from my mp3 player at reasonable volume levels. The best feature in my opinion is the size of the ear cups. Other earmuffs I've used tend to hurt my ears after a couple of hours, the Peltor has large earcups that don't pinch my ears - very comfortable during long periods of use. Since I use them on the tractor, they are subject to lots of abuse, they are very well constructed and have held up extremely well. If good noise attenuation, comfortable fit and solid construction are important to you, then this is the choice for you.Customer Review: Best Earmuffs Available

There's plenty of reviews about this already so to be brief: Earmuffs are a relatively recent invention. These are the best earmuffs available right now. The pads make a huge difference between it and other earmuffs. I tried some other brands but they were uncomfortable. These are so comfy that I can sleep in them if need be. The only bad thing I can say which has nothing to do with the actual earmuffs themselves, is that Amazon doesn't stock the replacement pads so you'll have to pay just as much for them as you do the earmuffs for now.Customer Review: Best Earmuffs I've Found

I've been using these for years. They're the only hearing protection I've used that's so effective, yet so comfortable I can literally forget that I'm wearing them sometimes. My primary uses for these are 1) woodworking power tools, especially when using my router or shop vacuum (they're very effective against the high-pitched whine of universal motors); and 2) outdoor power/yard equipment, like my trusty old (but noisy) MTD snowblower. I've had a couple of pairs for several years. They receive several hours of use per week. I sweat like a pig, but they are just now starting to show signs of wear (the black vinyl on the sides of the pads are cracking open). Even so, they're still perfectly usable and effective in this condition. When they ultimately wear out I'll probably buy another copy of the exact same pair.Customer Review: Best I've found so far!

I tried cheaper sets that didn't work. Then I bought a pair of the Peltor H10As and found they are just what I was looking for. Lightweight and comfortable, they block out the noise but you can still hear someone talking next to you. Now I own 3 pairs of them, one for my workshop, one for mowing the lawn, and one for work (I operate heavy equipment). You won't be disappointed!
