This towel holder was well worth waiting for. Could not find anything like it in my city, so glad I found this one. Similar ones in high scale kitchen shops are outragiously high and not as well made. When I saw this, I wanted to show it off, rather than try to hide it!
That is the main point, sturdy and sleek all at the same time.
Second, good feature, does not take up counter space! It looks so nice near my sink and keeps the paper towels neat and saves on wasted paper towels.
Third point, price, price, price!

I've used many many papertowel holders in my 60 years but none have even come close to giving me the joy I get from this model. Have you ever had to re-roll a papertowel roll after it flew to the floor having come off the holder or wall? That will never happen again. The ratcheting action lets you actually control with ONE HAND how many sheets come off the roll. It never fails,after using it a newbie says " Changing it takes as much time as typing the period at the end of this sentence! I don't have time to write reviews so this is a rare occasion but I'm absolutely sold-out on this paper towel holder. It allows me to quickly grab a paper towel with one hand without the whole roll unravelling to the floor. And how many times do you have both hands free when snatching a paper towel? - Never! I try to illimanate daily frustrations whenever I can. It's crazy to put up with something so aggravating when the solution is simple, inexpensive and beautiful. I suffered with an inferior paper towel holder I had purchased at the super market a couple of years ago. I finally had it and decided it was way time to purchase a more substantial holder....so I checked out Amazon.com and located this holder and read the terrific reviews. I determined it would be worth it to give it a try. All I can say is, for one of the most economically priced item (PLUS NO S/H and NO TAX), this particular paper towel holder has an exceptional design to do exactly what it was designed to do....and with clever and simplistic engineering! Had to search hard to find this after had one and couldn't remember where I got it. Got the second one for my art studio. Perfect for busy folks as is truly one hand operation. I hang mine under the cupboard, which makes them unobtrusive yet easy to reach.
