I've had one of these for about 6-7 years now and it works great. Looking at getting one for my neighbor. We use to get a lot of ants 5-6 times a year along with a few other pest and we are now about 95% bug free all year around. We do not have any more ants or cockroaches. I've looked at some of the "bad" reviews and I would like to point out a couple of things. First, it takes some time for the pest to be gone. For us, it took about 3 months before we noticed that we didn't have any more pest. Second, the unit works with the wiring within your walls so it doesn't work very well within the attic. The sonic ones might work better here. Also, spiders under cabinets or corners of a room don't work either. This unit is for pest within your walls. If you do try one of these, place the unit(s) were you have the heaviest concentration of pest and give it time to work! You might not be 100% bug free, but it might be close and it's got to be better than having chemicals sprayed in your house every month.Customer Review: So Far, So Good...

I purchased Pest Offense in January and plugged one in the kitchen downstairs and in my daughter's bedroom upstairs in our home. My main concern was/is ants. (I have an 11-year old who likes sweets and leaves tasty bits and pieces on the floor, etc.) The lights are flashing/working the way they're supposed to, but who knows about the "sonic"/EMF part we can't hear? We'd had a couple of "ant attacks" in Nov/Dec but have had none since, and have seen no bugs/critters except an occasional spider. (It's only been about 2 months; maybe I'll send a follow-up review this summer if requested.)Customer Review: Who knows if it works?

Pest Offense - does it work or not? Have no way of knowing, at this time. The ant season is not upon us yet. But I have noticed an increase in gnat activity around the house. Seems to follow us from room to room. So I cannot give a thumbs up, yet.Customer Review: pest offense

I bought this product about two months ago and I can say that it really works. At first I had doubts but now I'm happy. I had a little mice and roches in my house and in my parents house, so I bought two put one down stairs and on the opposite side of the house(like the directions say) I put the other and amazinly the mice is gone and I only see once in a blue a roch but it looks like its on drugs lol..In my parents house all she see's and not much at all are little baby roches. So I'm a fan and I recommend! I give it 4four stars ****. Customer Review: Don't buy it

I too was skepical and should have went with my instinks and saved my money. The unit has a 30-day money back guarantee but says you should use it 6-8 weeks for it to be effective.
My use was for insects - ants, spiders. It did not work at all and the issue still persists. The blinking lights may scare away mice but this was just a gimmick device and nothing more.
