I bought these in a few colors (at a higher price) about a month ago. They were purchased to replace some designer catalog towels that I mistakenly thought would be of better quality. Well the designer towels shed about 1/2 their heft in my drier.
So here I came to Amazon looking for a better alternative.
I ordered 3 sets of these and am impressed with their drying ability and their feel. The towels are nice and thick and absorbent (like a towel should be, right?). The package of six include two sets -- making this an even better deal.
I just went back and bought another three sets for use over the holidays with out of town guests. You won't be sorry with these. I am tossing my old towels and using these sets almost exclusively.

These towels are huge! Even the washcloths and hand towels. They are soft and very absorbetent. The color is as pictured. I would recommend them because they are quality.
*Edit* After several months of use, the color has begun to bleach and the towels are turning pink. I was wash them per manufacturer's instructions. Maybe they're not as great as I thought!

I bouth these from the gold box special and ordered light blue. After I recieved shipment I ran these towels throught the wash (cold water + fabric softener) and they came out PURPLE! They are kind of soft but they are PURPLE! Probably the most disappointed I've ever been with anything from Amazon and I've been a prime member for at least three years.
