I was disappointed with this towels when I first unpacked them...HOWEVER, once they were washed and dried, I was very happy. After removing them from the drier, they were transformed into luxurious thick cotton towels, the softest I have ever had. I purchased two sets - one for my use and one for a gift. The towels arrived with a strong solvent odor so I washed immediately. The towels were not absorbant at all and they had pulls after two washes.
Luckily, the gift was for my son who told me he was not happy with the towels either. I would not recommend this product.

It's a new year and was tired of my old worn out towels. I ran across these towels online. I was a little hesitant in buying towels without being able feel the texture. I thought that these seemed like a good price so I thought I would take a risk. A friend once told me that the greatest risk is the one not taken. I am glad i did. After reading some of the other reviews I was a little scared to see how these towels would turn out. I thought the worst thing is that if it didn't soak up water I could use them on at the beach, or pool. At least I thought I wouldn't have to worry about being on a wet towel then. So I planned for the worst.When I received the towels, it was very quick turnaround. It was only a few days. They are really huge! It was very nice to see a larger towel that would completely cover me. They are worth it defiantly becuase of the size. They are big and fluffy. I immediatly washed them, like the other reviews and instructions told me.
1.) in warm not hot water
2.) detergent without fabic softner.
3.) washed alone and dryed on med. heat
The towels washed very nicely. They did not tear, or color bleed and soaked up the water well. I placed them in the dryer. I did notice some lint so I knew that they were at least soft. They came out very nice. Since then I have not had any issues. They are warm and I have since bought another pair. They are a lot better than some other stores with the same prices for their store towels. Try it, you will like them. And if not- they are big enough to take to the park when you need a towel to sit on.

These towels are wonderful. These towels are heavy and plush. It gives you a feeling of comfort and luxury. They soak up tons of water. I have long hair so getting rid of the excess water is a huge deal for me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
