I'm buying another! When it first arrived I knew it would be a week or more before the microbeads started shrinking. It's been three weeks now and it has become very comfortable.
Comments about it needing the pillow case that comes with it after awhile are because the beads compress. I could not get the pillow into the case supplied and probably won't be able to for another month. This is why some like to put it in the pillow case supplied to make it pack more tightly.
This pillow becomes smoochy after awhile which enables head position exactly as I want it.
Give it a couple of weeks to soften up and you will find it as much or more comfortable as a feather pillow without concern for allergies.

I'm kinda a pillow snob and I love this pillow. It's amazing, it feels just like those expensive ones you buy from Brookstone or the airport stores. It molds and mushes to just fit your head and neck. It's not too fluffy or too flat, it's just right. I love this pillow, hope to own more.
**update** I have now had it a few months, and I still love it, but it is getting a little flat, looks like it may need to be replaced once if not twice a year, but I think it's worth it.

I just received this pillow last week. It's great. I've got neck problems and I have tried many different pillows. Finally, I can get a restfull night of sleep. This pillow supports the neck well, it's somewhat firm, it conforms to the shape of your head, but it's not so hard that it puts excess pressure on your ears if you sleep on your side.
