I purchased this product to help me move as I thought UHaul charged too much for the rental. That was a mistake. All of my furniture kept sliding off of the dolly as the carpet does not have any grip. The UHaul dolly has rubber instead. I recommend you get a dolly with a rubber top instead of carpet.Customer Review: Fast Delivery

I actually have no intention of moving furniture with this. I am in the middle stages of building a LARGE telescope mount to hole a 28" primary OTA. The mount itself is a fork with 34" between the tines. It is mostly welded aluminum with a 4" solid stainless RA shaft. Moral of the story is that it is HEAVY. about 800lbs by my calculations. Originally I had built a platform with 6 store-bought casters under it to roll it around the shop. Lets just say all casters are not alike. It was a disaster.. Once the full weight of the beast was brought to bear the casters became fixed in orientation. Ahh well.. I ordered two of these grizzly furniture dollies and BAM! I can now push it around the shop with little effort. I have to say these work as intended with quite a load on them. I don't think anything you may be moving around the house will stress them minus a grand piano. Even large gun-safes should not be an issue. The only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is the casters still don't swivel as well as I would like. Dont get me wrong, they are 1000 times better than my home made one, but I guess I was expecting perfection.
If you are using this for its intended purpose, you will not be disappointed...
