I bought a set of these towels (bath, hand, and washcloths), primarily because I wanted the antibacterial properties of a bamboo hand towel. I have always had problems with my hand towels going sour, and then contaminating an entire load of towels. I got tired of throwing away the smelly ones and buying new ones, so I read about bamboo towels on the internet. These are great -- they have had no odor problems yet, and they are luxuriously soft and absorbant. As other reviewers said, they are a little on the heavier side, but I prefer a heavier towel. They have washed well several times, and they do unfortunately take longer to dry. However, I am still very pleased with my purchase, and plan to upgrade my guest bathroom towels as soon as I have a little extra money!Customer Review: Ohhh baby!

Bought these towels despite the other reviews that they take too long to dry. Love them! Soft, absorbent, heavy and perfect after getting out of a hot shower! Total luxury!!! I ordered this towel just to reach a certain price range for free shipping, and when I received it I was pleasantly surprised!! This towel is sooo soft and absorbent it is unbelievable! I have never owned a towel so soft before. I wished that I had known how nice they were before I ordered it so I could have ordered more. I am going to order more now that I know how nice they are!! I recommend this towel to anyone. My children even asked where I got such a soft, nice towel!!Customer Review: WOW!

I read the reviews on these towels, but I didn't think they could be that "great." These are the softest, most luxurious towels I have ever even owned. I put the hand towel out 10 days ago, and it is still soft, absorbent beyond the call of duty and looking fresh - as if I just washed it (I'm the only one who uses it, so it's "child proof."). I ordered 4 bath towels and 4 hand towels to start, and I just ordered 2 more bath towels. I would highly recommend these towels. Just be warned: These towels are super absorbent, soft as cashmere, generously sized, and quite hefty. I washed mine before using, and they have not pilled! These towels are great -- the softest towels i've ever owned. the first set i bought (bath towel and hand towel size) i liked so much i bought two more sets. with most cotton towels i've owned, the textured bands shrink more than the rest of the towel after washing and drying resulting in misshapen towels. however, these towels dont shrink like cotton ones, in fact not at all, so the towel stays the same shape -- i've owned the first set i bought for a year now, and they are stil as soft and the same shape as when i bought them.
a word of warning about the bath robe by this brand -- i bought it thinking it would be as plush and thick as the towels are, but it was a disappointment -- very thin, and even thought the cut/styling is nice, the fabric is not up to par with the towels by any stretch of the imagination. towels are excellent though
