I have not opened the package yet but they are a pretty plum color and for the price I'm sure they will be fine..not a whole lot can go wrong with pillow cases.Customer Review: not worth the price

I purchased this 2 pillowcase set to go along with the Pinzon 400TC Queen Size Sheet set in Plum.
The color is darker than it appears in the pictures, but I expected that since it happens a lot with fabrics in general. In the picture it appears as a darker lilac color (to me, at least) but really it is more like aubergine.
These pillowcases are generously sized - I just have standard pillows but could get larger if I wanted; there is plenty of room.
My main gripes with the pillow cases and sheets are that they don't feel very "soft", and wrinkle up easily when washed and dried.
I am not the type to iron things other than clothes, so I suppose if you ARE the type to iron sheets this issue won't bother you.
All in all, I wish I went with a less expensive set because for the money spent, I could have gotten 2 sheet sets with a lower thread count and gotten the same results.
The Martha Stewart sheet set I bought almost 3 years ago at K-Mart are nicer than these.
