Customer Review: Decent Map Files- with side bracing

Was looking for some files less than 10.5 inches high to fit my built-in (1920s) shelves and at least 4 inches wide to fit my road map collection, stored front to back, and filed by geographical area. All the ones I saw were at least 12 inches high, and none were more than 3.5 inches wide. Since these were four inches wide and said (accurately) to be flimsy, I thought they'd trim down easily, and they did. Even better, all five of them filled the length of my shelf, so there is no tipping over sideways. They will definitely tip over if not braced along the sides. That said, they worked great for me, and they were delivered at the early end of the expected delivery date range. I thought the shipping rate looked high, but the postage actually cost more than the seller charged.Customer Review: For limited use NOT magazines

Storage containers arrive flat in shipping box. The four sides are created from one folded piece joined. To complete the box you fold two longer sides making two main bottom pieces which slot together (with two smaller wings from the other side). Do not plan on moving these around. They have no strength, since the bottom is only slotted together, it easily comes undone if you move the box. Only one of mine remains unbroken; creating sharp plastic edges. Not repairable. If you only intend to place a few letters, etc in the storage containers and not magazines, and the boxes are braced against something stronger (so they don't fall over) these might work. The colors are very nice. But they are not strong enough for MAGAZINES.Customer Review: What a waste of time and money!

These supposed "boxes" arrived today. What a joke. They can not stand up on their own. They will not hold magazines. They serve absolutely no purpose whatsoever! Sure they're cheap. But the time I wasted attempting to get these to work - along with the time it will take to prepare to ship them back to where they belong is not cheap. Save your money and more importantly your precious time. Amazon should remove these from their reputable line of products.Customer Review: Won't stay standing

I like the fun colors that these come in and they are obviously very cost-conscious. However, they do not really work in terms of holding papers/magazines -- they arrive flat and you fold them to make them usable. The plastic is fairly flimsy and it tends to want to go back to its unfolded position. Because they are so lightweight, they will stand up when folded with nothing in them, but as soon as I've put magazines in them, they fall over. I will probably go get the ones at Staples I saw that were more costly and much less attractive, but will actually stand up and hold things.Customer Review: cute, but flimsy

They're cute but when u pick them up the bottom isn't strong enough to hold the magazines in there so if you're planning on picking them up at all, I wouldn't buy em.
