Tools and Hardware Reviews of Pollenex PP9200CRX 9-Setting Handheld Shower, White with Chrome RingCustomer Review: I love the settings! Summary: 5 Stars
I agree that at some angles the showerhead has a tendency to fall out of its holder, but if you have a regular sized shower this shouldn't be a problem. The only reason it's been an issue for me is that my shower is quite small, and I angle the showerhead away from me while I'm soaping up. When I have it in the regular, right-in-front-of-me position, I have had no difficulty in keeping it in the holder--and of course most of the time I'm using it, it's not in the holder, anyway! There is leaking periodically, but I have found that if I rotate the holder clockwise (just hold the showerhead in one hand and take hold of the hose at the end near the holder and rotate the holder once clockwise and then untwist the hose--quite simple; takes a few seconds), the leaking stops. To me, these issues are minor and work-aroundable. The important thing is that I love the settings. I use several of them almost every time I shower.
Customer Review: It's quite heavy....but solid construction Summary: 3 Stars
The shower head seems well constructed, but I was surprised how heavy it is. I had an existing mount which pivots up/down for your desired level and it was not strong enough to hold it up. I rigged it so it wont fall down now as I wanted keep it stationary anyway. Otherwise a good product. Nice selection of sprays.

I was really looking forward to this item. But I am disappointed in it. The shower head handle does not want to stay in the holder.
Customer Review: Poor design Summary: 2 Stars
I should have read the reviews before buying this, but I bought at a local store and bought this because my previous one was also a pollenex and it lasted 12 years before the bracket broke. I took it on faith this was still the same quality product.
The item is called hand-held, because they expect you to hold it while showering, it won't stay in the bracket and if it fits in it is loose. Also while it is in the bracketin points straight down, not at an angle out to the middle of the shower. The bracket has a swivel on it and it is not strong enough to hold the heavy shower head in place, it flops down.
The installation was easy. The three steps are printed on the box. I hand tightened mine and I have one wrist with carpel tunnel but was still able to do it without tools and had no leaks. Its not that hard to figure out anyway, take old shower head off. screw on new adapter/holder, screw hose on to adapter and hose on shower head, both ends are the same so it can't be mixed up. They even supply teflon tape if needed.
I'm afraid the plastic bracket is going to break soon.
For now i've got a soda can shoved between the bracket and the wall to hold it up. I'll have to make something that looks better and put some kind of bungee cord on it to hold it in place, but still allow it to be removed for hand held use. On the other hand, the way it is mounted now, the head is high and over my head, and i'm 6 foot tall, so at least I don't have to duck to get under the water.
Very dissapointed in appearance, However performance is acceptable.
Customer Review: Works great! Summary: 4 Stars
I love my new showerhead. Be aware, though, that if you're in an apartment with a "normal" 45degree pipe that ends in a showerhead, you're going to have to buy a new adapter before you can use this. However, it'll be worth it!!
