The Power Strip Liberator is perfect for freeing up those over-used power strip and surge-protector sockets --- the "piggy-back" feature adds capacity while allowing plenty of room for those bulky transformers that seem to be used with just about everything --- including printers, cable modems, routers, cordless telephones, and even some computer stereo systems.
Be advised that these units are for LIGHT DUTY ONLY, and must not be used to connect motorized appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, room air conditioners, or any equipment that will draw more than 7.5 amps.
I was able to use 3 Power Strip Liberators to hook up 3 of those bulky transformers while leaving several sockets of the surge protector available for my computer and it's other peripherals.
A low-cost solution to the problem of clutter and congestion, I highly recommend this product.
The low price and speedy delivery are bonus features that make this product an excellent value !!

2 years later, and my 3 Power Strip Liberators are still in daily use and working perfectly.

Excellent product. Allows one to not waste space on power strips due to the large size that many AC adaptors take, often blocking outlets. What a simple idea, yet one that totally solves this problem, while at the same time affording the option of plugging in another cord. I use these at my multiple computer workstations, as well as for the guitar pedals for my band, Off Yer Rockers. Possibilities are endless.Customer Review: Good solid product

Kill-a-Watt Caution. I checked with the shipper and this cord has a lower power rating than the Kill-a-Watt you may be using it with. To avoid over-heating this cord be sure not to use with refrigerator, washer, dryer, air conditioner or other large power using appliance. Kill-a-Watt is rated 15 amps (1875 VA) and this cord is smaller, about 1/2 the amount of the Kill-a-Watt. We want you to be safe and avoid the classic "extension cord fire" from over-heating a cord.
