Order it for a 1997 honda civic ex, was doing the timing belt and knew the crankshaft bolt was going to be a tough one.
Having done another timing belt change on a prior honda accord, I knew this was going to be hard to break loose.
Didn't have air tools this time around and was working alone, so I ordered this tool. Broke the bolt exactly like it should.
Only comment tool was a bit loose in the crankshaft pulley. But it worked, used a jackstand to hold up extensions and use 2 breaker bars one jammed to floor and order to break bolt loose.
A must have tool for anyone doing mechanical work on their honda/acuras.

Never again will I try and remove a crank pulley without a special helper tool like this removal tool. Bought a 15-inch $12 breaker bar as a "holder" (you'll need something with a 1/2" drive) and gave the pulley bolt quick punishment for being so stubborn. In 1 minute it was in my hand without having to brace the drivetrain, brakes, pulley, etc..totally worth it.Customer Review: Absolutly Necessary!

I used this tool to install under drive pulleys. I tried numerous other methods to remove my crankshaft pulley to no avail. This tool did what a 750lbft impact wrench could not! The tool is descent quality and seems well built. It made a seemingly impossible job possible. I used it on a later model k series engine by the way.
