These clamps are easy to use. The adjust with one hand. They don't mar the wood. But they lack the clamping power of j-clamps or c-clamps. I have about 6 of them and they're great for holding a piece of wood to the workbench for routing or sanding, but that's about it. Don't even try using them for glue-ups.
