I have higher ceilings (15-20 feet or so) so I decided to purchase these instead of the plain hooks. They are great for the price and the rope is enough with plenty of slack. I would rate it 4.5 stars. It would be nice if they included some dry wall anchors.
Make sure you drill into a stud, or buy dry wall anchors.... don't ask me how i know..

I have four of them on my ceiling holding bikes and they all work terrific. I need one more for another bike and my ceiling will be just about full. The bikes go up and down very easily and require no lifting. It's very easy for anyone to use.Customer Review: Awsome

These are great, I use 2 sets to hold up our canoe in my small garage. Very easy use, I can lower and raise my canoe by myself in no time at all with very little effort. We already had 2 of these items that we got as a "special purchase" item at Costco, so we already knew what we were getting. We just needed another one for a third bike and found a great price at Amazon. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a bit hard (heavy) for a petite person like myself to hoist up, so my husband usually ends up doing it. Other than that, we are very happy with the product. Our garage looks very organized because the bikes aren't on the floor or in the way.
