If you want the bikes to be side by side, it fits together properly. (Although it is poorly made) The problem is that you cannot fit two large bikes in the rack side by side. The instructions state that you can reverse it and have a bikes be opposite of one another. The rack does not fit together when you do this.Customer Review: Don't waste your money

This thing actually sucks your front tire in. I have to plant one foot on the bike rack and yank my front tire loose from it. I could not fit two mountain bikes on it side by side so close. It has no traction whatsoever and slides around constantly. If you are using this inside your home it will be an issue. And one of the parts was threaded badly, and I had to use a lot of force to re-thread it with the bolts they sent. You could probably do better with two cinder blocks.Customer Review: Durable

I was asked to create a bicycle storage area at my place of employment.
After researching dozens of scenarios and products, I was able to
maximize the space available. I switched and alter direction of the
the stand and now house ten bicycles in the area that only accommodated
4-5. They were shipped promptly and are surprisingly sturdy.
