Tools and Hardware Reviews of Racor Pro PLB-2R Two-Bike Gravity Freestanding Bike Stand

Customer Review: Disappointing
Summary: 1 Stars

Received the package with holes in it. One minor part, a plastic end-cap, was missing. I put the stand together per the instructions and it would not stand upright. There was a manufactory flaw. I exchanged the stand for a new one and it was flawed as well. The stand was crooked. I returned the second one for a refund. Very disappointing. This product shouldn't even be sold.

Customer Review: Do not buy
Summary: 1 Stars

Contrary to its name, this stand is NOT freestanding. Contrary to the description, screwing the stand into the wall is NOT optional. This stand will fall over immediately if it is not screwed into the wall. Very misleading advertising.

Customer Review: Does the Job!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought two of these to help me declutter my garage. I put them together in less than 5 minutes each. They are very sturdy and easily hold two adult bikes.

It is true that the individual pieces that comprise the vertical pole of the bike rack do not fit together tightly, but the fit is snug enough that it doesn't affect the function of this product at all, so don't worry about that when you see it in the other reviews. Also, I did not have to anchor mine to anything, they stand on their own without any problem. For the money, this bike rack can't be beat.

Customer Review: Does the job it says it does...
Summary: 4 Stars

The bike rack works just like it says it does. However you will notice that the pictures are always of 2 men's bicycles. This is because it is more difficulte to get a woman's bicycle, let alone 2 of them, on and off the rack. Also, once you set the arms into the post, it is a pain to get them back out, so I would recomend having a friend put the arms in while you hold the bike at the level you want it at. Also start with the bottom bike or put the top arm at the very top part of the post to allow yourself the most room to get the bottom bike on and off.

Customer Review: Does what it is supposed to do.
Summary: 4 Stars

This bicycle rack is pretty good for what I want. I would recommend this item to someone who has two bikes and little room in their garage.
