Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to do...
Summary: 4 Stars

Two Bikes + Racor Stand = More real estate

Don't think about it to much. It's as simple a design as the very bicycles its supporting.

One thing I would change would be the hook and arm design. While the backbone itself has provisions for securing it to a wall, the bicycles themselves are secured by gravity, only. So in earthquake country, like where I live, a strap to go around the top tube, fastening it to the hook is much safer. Similar to that of the Hollywood bicycle racks for cars. They use a strong rubber strap to hold the bike down; very safe. I would also rotate the hole, which has a teardrop shape, where the arms attach to the backbone, 90 degrees so when it shakes the arms can't simply "hop" out of the socket.

Since I've had the rack there's been several quakes, including what felt like a rolling 4.0 by the time it got to where I am, just outside of downtown Los Angeles, and the rack was solid.

It's a solid product for an excellent price, which has served it's purpose dutifully. I looked at various options, and this was by far the most convenient and practical. I live in a 2nd floor condo, so no garage. So having this rack was a BIG deal. It's esthetically pleasing and has a small footprint. I'm very pleased.

I think I've had this thing for like 6 months, since like Jan 2010...I can't remember, which is a credit to the rack; assembled it, hung the bikes, put problem out of mind...can't ask for more.

Customer Review: Doesn't hold one bike, much less two
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this product to hold two "city commuting" type bikes (ie not mountain bikes, not racing bikes). Setup was very easy, but it was unable to hold even one of the bikes without tipping over. I can't say for sure if it is because our apartment floor is slightly uneven or whatnot, but regardless, this product wasn't able to handle it.

Customer Review: Double Bike rack
Summary: 5 Stars

This product is awesome. I have 2 bikes for my hubby and I and let me tell you this rack is great. All I had to do was put the piece together, no tools needed. Does not scratch up the wall or nothing. Very sturdy and easy to put the bike on. I would recommend it to anyone who lives in a small apartment, or trying to keep the place neat and organized

Customer Review: EASY!
Summary: 5 Stars

This stand is so easy to set up and store. It may require a little adjusting of the arms if your bikes are short, but it is so handy to stack a light road bike on top of a mountain bike. I wouldn't take any chances by not bolting it to the wall (there's even an included screw for that), but it is such a space-saver that keeps the bikes off the carpet (which saves on the wear/tear of the carpet).

Customer Review: Easily assembled...but
Summary: 4 Stars

The package arrived, all pieces accounted for. However, the metal was scraped up a bit and the holes for the brackets were too tight. I would recommend this product for its ease and simplicity of construction and usage.
