The rack will work fine for lighter bikes. Our two mountain bikes seem to strain the racks. One side hangs down under their weight, but still holds them up.

Exactly as advertised. Great wall rack. Perfect for most types of bikes, but I wouldn't take my chances on a really heavy bike since their is no reinforcement arm...just the two screws that hold the bracket to the wall. Perfect for lighter bikes, and kids bikes. I also like the ability to fold up out of the way when not in use.

I needed to store the Bikes(2 of them) in my Garage. I didn't have enough space to leave it on the floor or have a stand alone rack - with the Car inside. So the options I had were hanging it on either the wall or the ceiling. I didn't really like the ceiling idea so decided the wall it is. This rack was perfect for it. It has space to keep your helmet and it folds in when not in use apart from its real purpose of holding the Bike, which it does just as good. The rack it a little thinnish looking but quite sturdy - not flimsy at all. It is also relatively easy to set up. The product comes with 2 2" screws, and the folding rack. All you have to do is to screw the Rack to the wall. But there is one thing to keep in mind. If you are planning on screwing the dock to a wall stud, make sure you drill a hole on the wall stud first. I did not do it for the first screw and my power tool ended up damaging it when it was half way in (The hardware was not that great).

I got 2 of these for my 2 bikes. They had a different model which supports 2 - but I didn't get it for the following reasons
1. I was a bit skeptical that it would hold the weight of the 2 bikes
2. It juts out of the wall more

I put those up one below the other at a staggered angle. They have been in use for close to 3 months now, without any problems. But sometimes I feel that may be I should tether the bikes to the wall as an extra precaution - You know - you have that nagging feeling that it snaps and falls on the car damages it and the little guy on your shoulder says (I "thought" you so). But I haven't done it till now.

This is a very simple product, just a metal rack to support your bike so there's nothing cutting edge about it. However, the finish is nice and it does fold in easily as stated. The fold-up is nice since you wont inadvertently wack your head against it when unloaded. My road bike is only 20 pounds so not that heavy, though I don't see issues if you put something very heavy as long as you are screwing into something solid such as a structural piece of wood rather than decorative boarding. Overall I'm satisfied as the price was right. Would buy again.
