Whenever I'd be ready to fire up the table saw, router or other noisy wood working tool, I'd look around for my safety glasses and ear muffs and find them on my five year old son, who invariably had a big grin on his face, and was ready to make some sawdust. Hmmm. "I need those," I'd tell him, but so did he. So I got him these Remington ear muffs and a little pair of safety glasses. Now he can be in on the project without going deaf or risking his vision. His older sister's sugar-coated opinion? "You look like a geek."
Okay, the muffs are well made, and they use sweat wicking cool-max fabrics to keep the wearer comfortable. They do a fine job of noise muffling. But they're small. To fit my son, the headband has to be fully extended, and he has a small head. I don't know how long these will work for him. If a child's head grew as fast as the rest of him, I'd send them back, but since heads grow slowly, I'll keep 'em.
Good product for a 3-5 year old.
