i just got mine today and i am very happy with it. i used it under the hood of my jeep made a great work light. i got it for power outages so i would be prepaired for the worse. we had a ice storm here a couple of years ago and was with out power for about 2-3 weeks. i didnt have very much trouble with inserting batterys as long as you line up the arrows your good if they dont line up it wont want to shut right and the lid will be on a tilt. it is very bright for only 3d batterys i cant comment on run time but i like it so much i will probly get some more. and the top unscrews so you can hang it up side down if you want. small size but packs a punch buy 1 i did now i just need more of them very happy thanks amazon
