Overall, this product is not very good. We bought the fabric version which is substantially better, this paper version is super flimsy. It would be ok for a window that you:
a) don't use much
b) leave the shade always open or always closed... but basically,

It's a pain in the neck to open and close this shade. Our old shades were the $5 kind of plastic horizontal blinds. In about 1 second, I could open the shade. With these, it takes about 15 seconds

On the positive side:
a) it's very bright and lets a lot of light in so you don't need to keep opening it for it to be light in the room, assuming you have good sunlight coming in.
b) it's super inexpensive (this is one of those you-get-what-you-pay-for items)
c) it's extremely easy to install
d) it's actually very sleek and appealing to look at.
