Poor quality. Not an actual white finish. More like a washed white with woodgrain showing through. Will not last long or withstand children very long, I am sure. This was very dissappointing. Pieces were damaged coming out of the box. The first drawer broke as it was being assembled. Online distributers offer free shipping because it will cost you too much to return so you are stuck with it. Check dimensions! This is a minature version of a desk. This piece should be grouped in with the Country Lane White furniture Collection, its wood grain vaneer matches the Country Lane White Collection perfectly. I don't know why they titled this furniture "Pearl White" when it's obviously "Country Lane White". These desks are braced in about 6 or 7 different places and is as sturdy as can get. I ordered two of these for my grandkids and they love them. I love the fact that this furniture is made in the USA.Customer Review: The paint peels off

We recently bought the desk for my little girl and was going to surprise her for her birthday which is Christmas day. When my husband took it out of the box to put it together, some of the pieces weren't fitting right and glue that should have stayed wasn't.
