Don't bother ordering from partshouse. After placing oder & waiting several weeks, I emailed for order status, and received back a one line response: "order was cancelled". No other explanation, or anything. Thanks for nothing.....Now I know why last replacement icemaker I bought cost $90 - I actually received it! For $45, you don't. Seller was fast to ship. Item is not OEM, but fit perfectly and included every possible connecting cord. Seemed to take some time for the first ice cubes after installation, but then rapidly filled. This does not have the crummy black plastic liner that flakes (which is why I was replacing my old one).Customer Review: Everything you need -- easy to install as a replcement unit

My existing ice maker was leaking and needed a replacement -- this filled the bill. The price from Amazon was 1/3 the price that Sears was quoting!
If you do this yourself, remember that it takes time to make ice, so don't get impatient thinking it isn't working. Make sure you check the timer adjustment -- just look into the alignement hole described in the instructions provided.
I also took the opportunity to change my water filter, and I noticed the difference in my crystal clear new ice cubes.

My husband ordered this thru Amazon as a replacement unit for our icemaker which stopped working a couple of years ago. It was easy to install (took only minutes to remove the old unit and hook up this one). It does, however, take a little time for the unit to begin working as stated by others who have purchased it. He installed it last night and this morning we had ICE! Total for unit and shipping was less than $60. Quote from a repairman was around $250. The icemaker fit perfectly in our freezer. It was exactly as everyone else said in their reviews. Three screws, one plug, and away we went. Ten minutes tops to replace. So simple. The icemaker was brand new, and was exactly as described on the website. The icemaker was shipped very quickly. I was extremely impressed with my overall experience. Thanks!
