This is a great product. I have a one year old and i now let her into the kitchen. I was worried about the chemicals i used when i moped. This, you need no chemicals and after the floor is cleaned, it feels brand new. Only thing i didnt like was the fact it left the floor wet like any mop would. The product is supposed to steam the floors, kill bateria, and dry them all in the same stroke. Still love it. and the pads are easy to toss in the washer. Cord isnt all that long, but i have a big kitchen.Customer Review: Loved the mop, hated the longevity

I bought this mop in mid-2007 and loved it -- note the past tense.
It did all as advertized, cleaned the floors left no residue, etc.
I paid about $100 at the time, but it seemed like a good deal over time to get the cleanliness which I wanted.
In January 2010, I was using the mop and about halfway through the job, the bottom plate of the triangular head broke catastrophically into about 20 pieces.
I contacted Reliable to let them know about this and to see if they would replace the mop. I told them that I loved the mop. They replied that the mop was out of warranty -- which I knew.
So if you like to spend about $100 to get something that lasts for about 2½ years and then fails catastrophically, go ahead and spend your money.
Like I said, I loved the mop -- WHILE IT LASTED.

I've had this steam mop for about a year. It's very easy to use. You put the pad on the bottom, fill the bottle up with water, and plug it in. The cord could probably be a little longer, but I just switch to a different outlet when I need to.
It's great to be able to clean the floors without chemicals. It also does a great job of getting all the dirt off. I've even gotten dried nail polish off the floor with it. I've used it on both linoleum and hardwood without any problems.

Of all the methods of cleaning floors that I have used, including the scrub and vac machine, the Steamboy was the most effective. Additional to that, it was the simplest; clean-up was easy (toss steamer cover in the washing machine and wind the cord).Customer Review: No more mop and bucket for me!

My husband laughed at first when I bought this, because he had seen a similar product on tv and thought it looked gimmicky, and he knows I'm a sucker for gadgets. But even he was impressed at what a good job the Steamboy did on our tile floors, and how easy it is to use. Of course, no product is going to work miracles, and there are still some nooks and corners that are never going to get 100 percent clean without some old fashioned elbow grease. But overall, the Steamboy does an excellent job, and cleanup is a snap. I'm very happy with this product.
