Tools and Hardware Reviews of Renaissance 600-Thread-Count Cotton Sateen Queen Sheet Set, IvoryCustomer Review: Can be used as sails on a boat! Summary: 5 Stars
Heavy well-made material and does remind me of sail cloth although more smooth & soft of course. As per the washing instructions I washed & rinsed on cold and TRIED to dry on low. I ended up hanging them on the line because it was taking too long because of the bulk. They do wrinkle but that's a minor problem as I'm only using them to sleep on not as a show item. The pockets are too deep for me as it's a bear trying to tuck the bottom sheet under my 12" mattress, so I just pull the sheet down to the box springs. Completely satisfied as I know I didn't pay too much for them either.
Customer Review: Color off/Wrinkle Sheets Summary: 3 Stars
As other reviewers mentioned, colors are a bit off on these sheets. I have light yellow sheets when I ordered cream. These sheets really do wrinkle---even with my gas dryer and taking them out when the dryer stops running. On the plus side--they are very soft and fit my queen size bed. My first time buying sheets on line. Also my last experience buying sheets on line.
Customer Review: Do not wash these in hot water, BIG mistake Summary: 1 Stars
I got the queen size set in ivory. They seemed well made out-of-the-box and of good texture, not rough as others have complained about for the king-size sheets. The pillow cases have nice stitching and generous hems. Both sheets were initially ample in size. The fitted sheet is notably generous and easily handles the 7-8" thickness of my mattress; I project it could handle the much larger mattress thicknesses as advertised. BUT the nice silky smooth finish was destroyed after I washed them in hot water. Both sheets and pillow cases came out badly wrinkled, faded, and the sheen and silky smoothness were gone. The flat sheet shrunk significantly (approximately 5 inches off the 90" width), so its hard to keep it in place over-night. I've never had this problem with any of the other sheets I've bought in the past; they are/were probably polyester/cotton blends. So if you buy these sheets DO NOT WASH THEM IN HOT WATER; THEY WILL BE SEVERLY DAMAGED. My recommendation is to avoid these sheets and buy some nice permanent press sheets with a ~40/60% polyester/cotton content.
Customer Review: Exactly what I wanted Summary: 5 Stars
These sheets are wonderful. They fit my 15" queen size mattress without having to wrestle them on and off. They feel great (satiny, smooth, and not too hot in the Arizona summers) even without ironing. Love them, love them, love them!!!!!
Customer Review: Excellent Quality at a Great Price! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been looking for a good quality high thread count set of sheets, that wouldn't cost you a mint, and I finally found some. These sheets are wonderful and you can't beat the price!
